Matthew is thrilled to do a Freestyle, and wants to go all out with tricks and complicated lifts. Joy is incorporating some very dangerous moves into the dance. One lift even causes Matt to accidently drop Joy. This aside, they are ready to please with their Freestyles.
Voiceover: Dancing Freestyle, Matthew Morrison and his partner, Joy Spears.
Matthew is in a black T-shirt and jeans, Joy is in a short, ripped-up, black dress with her hair teased. The pair dances to “Blackout” by Breathe Carolina. The dance is full of lifts, one involving a helicopter-type lift with Joy held in the air by Matt. Once finished, they walk to Brittany.
Brittany: That was so… ambitious! Haha! Let's see what the judges thought.
Natalie: It was ambitious… Maybe even too ambitious! I don’t know. It was just a little bit wilder than I expected! Don’t get me wrong, you guys did awesome, though! Haha!
Elena: I’m not sure this is what I expected from a Freestyle from you! You were still very energetic, though!
Valerie: I loved it! It was just so crazy and fun! Great job!
Brittany: Well, up you go to Jen!
The couple walks up to Jennifer.
Jennifer: I am not sure what to think of those comments, so let’s see what the judges’ scores are!
